Terms of Service (TOS)

What we provide (listing, tenant placement, subscription management, escrow facilitation; not a bank/insurer).
Payment rules (platform-only payments; no off-platform cash; inspection ₹699, placement ₹6,000; owner plans).
Broker/Partner rules (on-platform brokerage, split logic if applicable; no circumvention).
User obligations (accurate info, KYC, comply with law, respect communication policies).
Disputes & limitation (escrow rules govern deposits; platform not party to tenancy; liability caps).
Changes (we can update terms; effective date).

Inspection fee ₹699: credited if tenant rents via RentPilot; otherwise non-refundable once the slot is used.
Placement fee ₹6,000: covers onboarding (e-agreement/e-sign, dashboards, escrow setup); refundable only if payment captured but onboarding not initiated (define a timeframe).
Owner listing ₹2,999: non-refundable once listing goes live.
Subscriptions (₹999/₹1,999/₹3,499): billed monthly; cancel anytime before renewal; no partial refunds for active cycle.
How to request: email and SLA (e.g., 5–7 business days).

What escrow is: deposit held in a bank escrow via RBI-regulated partner, separate from owner/tenant/platform funds.
How it works: Agree → Hold → Release; both parties approve release/partial release at move-out.
Who holds funds: the trustee/bank (name once finalized). RentPilot is a facilitator only.
Timelines: typical credit times for releases (e.g., instant–1 business day after approvals).
Disputes: how each party raises a dispute, documents required, timeline to resolve.
